A Tribute to Our Keisha Girl In September 2009 we were blessed with a very special gift, her name was Keisha, also known as Keisha Girl! Keisha was blind, she had no eyes along with multiple health issues. In December 2009 she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Then in April 2009 she was given 2 months to live. Keisha then endured four different chemo treatments over the next five months. All she was going through she was still able to fill our lives with such unconditional love and make memories we will cherish forever. Our precious Keisha Girl truly saw with her heart. She loved her walks and going in the car with Tucker and Shelly. She enjoyed being brushed and pampered, and loved to eat and have treats. She was our fun time girl! On October 15, 2010, our precious Keisha lost her battle with cancer. She will be deeply missed by her family and all that knew her. Also her canine buddies, Tucker and Shelly. We want to thank her veterinarian Dr. Donna Cobelli and all of her staff at Quarry Ridge Animal Hospital for all of their dedication, devotion, support and guidance they have given to our Keisha and family. We are most grateful to everyone at Quarry Ridge Animal Hospital. Thank you to Dr. Edwin Brodsky and staff at Veterinary Oncology & Hematology Center for his love and compassion he gave to Keisha. He loved her and referred to her as his girlfriend. We thank Dr. Ryan and everyone at Darien Animal Hospital who showed such caring and love for Keisha. We thank Sally so very much for fostering Keisha in the beginning and loving Keisha as all of us did. We thank Diane, President of Pet Protectors for giving us the opportunity to adopt and care for our Keisha. And thanks to all the volunteers of Pet Protectors for their love and concern of Keisha. Our precious Keisha has touched our lives and will live forever in our hearts!
Love, The Underhill Family
